Then it's back to Miami again, where they face off against both the police and other criminal king pins. They soon export their criminal activities to Miami, but when things get too hot there, they head back to Jamaica. The film follows the misadventures of Biggs and Wayne, two young men who get their start in a life of crime by robbing and shooting a truck driver in Jamaica while they're still kids. But they're soon back in Miami causing trouble.

The film's musical soundtrack did receive some praise, but the positive reaction to the music was far outweighed by the criticism of its low cinematic quality. It was criticized for its poor writing and acting, formulaic plot, glorification of violence and crime, and misogyny. Despite its popularity with viewers, the film received broadly negative reviews from critics. However, an unauthorized video version of the film was illegally available before that date, and the film enjoyed cult popularity in the US before it was officially released. The movie was produced on a small budget, and it wasn't released in the United States until 2006. It was directed by Cess Silvera, whose most recent project is the TV series Bottle Girls. The film was produced in Jamaica (with some filming also being done in Florida) in 2002 and boasts the producing involvement of reggae music star Wyclef Jean.
